The wooden old man

The wooden old man

Hello to here, there and everywhere!

So I have a very short story for this necklace, but it will be followed by a hole bunch of DIY tips and hints!

But first the necklace itself – easy, simple but catchy, original and pretty!

So the story is….

I saw this beautiful (or maybe handsome is more appropriate) tribal old man wooden piece among the crafting and leftover stuff of a friend of mine. That was probably 3-4 years ago. From the first moment I fell in love with it, because it’s unique and irreplaceable! At the time she didn’t give it to me, because she had plans for it.

Through the years every time we traveled together, me and my friend carried a bunch of beads, threads, leftover pieces of old jewelry and other stuff to make trinkets and related things on our travels. Every time she brought this wooden piece and every time I asked her if I could have it and… one day we came to a truce – she gave me the wooden old man and I gave her something of mine she really wanted. So, a few months ago I finally made it into something I could wear and I charged it with a lot of positive energy.

The main thing I want to tell you with this post is that …

If you have something little, a piece of old jewelry, little toy, favorite little trinket or similar little thing, you could turn them into a simple, beautiful piece of jewelry and you could wear your favorite amulet or talisman!

Here are some accents of my necklace:

And so the most important and awaited…

Here are the tips and hints for a DIY jewelry that will preserve your favorite little object or amulet!
