Ethno beaded earrings

Ethno beaded earrings

Namaste!

Here are the latest earrings. They’re one level up from the others in this series. What you see below are only the pieces from one earring. In this post I’ll show you the materials for these earrings, you’ll see how they fit the ears and photos of everything you need for this piece of jewelry.

First of all these earrings are all about the colors. They could be in any tonality you like. In this case they are in very warm colors and they remind of the ethno style. One earring is made out of three round beaded pieces connected with three tiny wire hoops.

Here are all of the glass beads I used:

I used black beads to make the look of one beaded circle – more finished, the other beads are basicly from one tonality, if we start with yellow, then go through the red and orange variations and end up with the brown glass beads. I decided to mix them and make a kind of a contrast. If I had arranged them in the order I justdescribed I’d have got iridescent earrings.

Here are the “connecting” materials. The wire hoops, thread and needles, scissors of course and jewelry pliers:

I use a simple but thick thread, because it can’t be seen exactly when the beaded pieces are finished and it’s cheaper. The scissors are antique but classic and the other materials are well known to all of you I suppose :) .

So now…..

here comes the long awaited result, after a few hours of beading…(you can click on the image for a BIGGER view)

And you could also see how they fit the ears and find out how long they are and etc.

  1. Thank you very much. I’m really glad you like my work. Yes, I made this site, but if I have to be honest I don’t really remember the theme or where I got it from. I have changed many things in the code and added different stuff to the main view. Sorry again that I can’t be of much help to you, but if you could think of something else to ask, I’ll be glad to respond.
